some 1967 firebirds came with only 1 traction bar (aka radius rod). There is some conflicting information out there but I have read that 400ci's with auto trans came with 1 radius rod on the passenger side. 400ci's with manual trans came with both. Maybe someone who knows can shed some light for us.

Some 1967 Firebirds were equiped with only 1 traction bar (aka radius rod) on the passenger side. There is some controversy over the details but I have read that 400ci's with auto trans had 1 radius rod and 400ci's with manual trans had 2. Maybe someone who knows can add some info here for us.

Hey. Mine were held in by retaining plates, so bolt in style, no C-clips. I think this is true for most Pontiacs but I am not sure. Cheers.
